After 15 years in the same home, I recently moved to a new home! It was quite an adjustment, and a ton of work. I was not looking forward to moving my fun utilities – cable, internet and yes, home phone (I love my home phone) because it had been so complicated to get them set up - yes, it was 15 years ago but still I remember! But, it was a breeze! I called, gave them the details, and they took care of the rest. It was SO easy, and I love easy.
This is why I love easy imports and easy productions in iCONECTv10. Two complicated processes have been simplified for the average user. That’s not to say that there isn’t some setup for us administrators to do – there is, but once the templates are created, we can use them for any project that comes up. Even better, this blog post includes a three-page document that will give you all the info you need to set these features for your users.
A user simply uses the new Imports page to load either native or processed data into a project. Then, they use iCONECTv10’s simplified review tools to view, code, and annotate their data. When that’s complete, they use the Productions page to export the data.
There are a lot of things that are labelled “easy” that are not: the easy bake oven, for example. It’s crazy to think that cooking a cake using a lightbulb’s heat could be easy.
I am an expert in easy and these two features are so easy even a first-time user will be able to complete them.
